Brow Tattoo Aftercare Instructions
AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations on your new brow cosmetic tattoo! You must be excited to see your new and improved look, and we want to help you keep them looking their best. Here are some aftercare instructions to ensure that your new brows heal properly, look fabulous, and last as long as possible:
No Sweating or Heating of the Skin: For the first 10 days after your appointment, avoid sweating, exercise, and any activities that may cause your skin to heat up. This will help your brows to heal without any complications.
Keep Your Brows Dry: During the first 10 days, it's super important to keep your brows completely dry. Avoid getting them wet during showers, baths, or any water-related activities. Also, don't use any makeup or spray tan on the area.
Steer Clear of Steam: Saunas, cooking over hot stoves, opening the oven, or steamy showers are a no-no for the first 10 days.
No Picking or Scratching: As much as you may want to scratch or pick at the flakes, don't! This can damage the skin and affect the healing process. Also, try to avoid rubbing the area on a pillow where possible. If you must sleep on your side, a silk pillowcase is best for healing.
Apply the Healing Balm: After the first 2 days, start applying the healing balm provided once a day for 7-10 days. Apply the smallest amount possible and keep any leftover for your perfecting visit.
Washing Your Hair: If you need to wash your hair during the aftercare period, try to avoid getting your brows wet. One option is to treat yourself to a wash and blow-dry. We also provide you with a waterproof face shield that is re-usable to use in the shower or bath to avoid any water splashing on your brows.
And don't forget, your perfecting appointment aftercare will be the same.
We hope you love your new brows!
